Bone Bolango – The Department of Geography Education Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) participated in the Teaching Campus Program as a lively series of commemorations of the 58th UNG anniversary. Dean of FMIPA UNG Prof. Astin Lukum, M.Si, who represented the committee, said that “Our event today is to celebrate the 58th UNG Anniversary with the name of the Mopo'olamahu Lipu Teaching Campus activity. Mopo'olamahu Lipu means to build the country well."
On the same occasion, Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT as the Rector of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo opened the event that was held at SD 6 Tilongkabila (23/09)., "My hope is that the teaching program can reach remote areas so that education and learning can be evenly distributed." In his remarks. For the teaching program carried out by the Geography Education Study Program itself, it will be implemented in two places, namely schools in Lonuo Village, Tilongkabila Subdistrict, and Molotabu Village, Kabila Bone Subdistrict.
This event was also attended by the local government, the head of Lonuo Village, the Head of the Education and Culture Office of Bonebolango Regency, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Prof. Karmila Mahmud, MA, Ph.D and the Rector Expert Staff for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Sayama Malabar, M.Pd, Head of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Lecturer of the Geography Education Study Program.[]
