Vision

“To Study And Develop Geography Education Based On An Ecopedagogical Approach And The Principles Of Transformative Constructivism, Which Are Rooted In Local Potential, Geospatial, And Oriented Towards Community Empowerment And Sustainable Development Of The Tomini Bay Region.”

 

Missions

  1. Organizing innovative geography education based on ecopedagogical approaches and transformative constructivism to form professional and characterful educators;
  2. Develop a contextual geography curriculum and learning, based on the local potential of the Tomini Bay area and geospatial technology;
  3. Carry out educational and geography research relevant to the needs of the community and the dynamics of development in the Tomini Bay area; 
  4. Conducting community service through empowerment based on geospatial data and strengthening the geographical literacy of local communities; 
  5. Build a network of cooperation with various parties to support scientific development and contribute to sustainable development in the Tomini Bay region.

Study Program Target

  1. To produce competent, reflective, and transformative graduates in the field of geography education, based on the principles of ecopedagogy and constructivism.
  2. Produce a learning and planning model of geography education that is contextual, problem-based, and relevant to local needs.
  3. Develop geospatial analysis skills through mastery of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology in supporting regional development decision-making.
  4. Encourage the mastery of the concepts and practices of environmental geography, tourism, and regional planning in an integrative manner in the context of the development of the Tomini Bay area.
  5. Making a real contribution to community empowerment and sustainable development of the Tomini Bay area through the Tridharma of Higher Education program.
