Commemoration of National Waste Care Day (HPSN) on February 23, 2024 Geography Education participated in the Waste Grebek activity which was carried out around Tamendao Tourism Beach, North Leato Village. Together with lecturers and hundreds of students from departments at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, they were involved in cleaning up the beach around Tamendao Tourism Beach. The purpose of this activity is to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and reducing waste.

In this garbage raid, the participants cleaned and collected waste, both plastic and non-plastic waste around the road and beach. This shows the need for serious attention and greater action in managing waste, especially in public places that are frequented frequently. It is the responsibility of all parties to overcome and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the environment. Your garbage is your responsibility.
