Research as part of the tri pillars of higher education is carried out routinely by lecturers of the Geography Education Study Program. The Geography Education lecturer team led by Dr. Fitryane Lihawa with members Dr. Eng. Sri Maryati and Masruroh, M.Pd conducted SDGS research in 3 provinces in Tomini Bay. The research area including Gorontalo Province, North Sulawesi Province, and Central Sulawesi Province. The team focused on studies of the environmental pillar including Goal 6, Goal 11, and Goal 15. At the workshop of analysis and reporting of SDGS Tomini Bay Region held on January 19, 2023 at the Institute of Research and Community Service UNG, they completed the projection of the achievement of the environmental pillar SDGs in 11 districts in 3 provinces, Tomini Bay Region.
