Gorontalo - The graduation ceremony took place wisely, even though it was held online. Nurfaika, Geography Education Lecturer, is one of the participants in the postgraduate program Period II AY. 2020-2021 Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada which takes place today (20/01/2021). Previously, he had successfully defended his dissertation on July 29, 2020, and was declared to have passed the judicial meeting on November 20, 2020, with a GPA of 3.71 with a very satisfactory predicate.

The lecturer, who was once the head of the Geography Laboratory, has successfully completed his studies and is entitled to a Doctorate in Geography and has increased the number of lecturers with doctoral qualifications in the Geography Education Study Program. Thus, of course, it will be able to make a big contribution to UNG in the future. On several occasions, lecturers who are qualified S2 (Master’s Degree) in Universitas Negeri Gorontalo are expected to continue their education at a higher level immediately. The destination university cannot be arbitrary, it is required to have good quality, at least in the top ranking of top universities in Indonesia, and it is more advisable to continue education abroad which has a better reputation. Hopefully in the future, more lecturers from the geography education study program will be given the opportunity to continue their studies to a higher level.
