The Geography Laboratory of Gorontalo State University received a visit from students of SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari on November 20, 2024. Students were given an introduction to geography laboratory tools and learning to make digital maps in the GIS laboratory of the Geography Education Study Program. Students were enthusiastic about this visit for the introduction of geography laboratory tools, one of which is about Meteorology and Climatology tools, as well as hands-on practice about GIS. In this case, the Geography laboratory assistants were assisted by Yuniarti Ibrahim, Merlin, Melani M, Aditya, Suci Wulansari, Liya Anggraeni, Ahmad Mohamad and several other lab assistants. The laboratory visit took the theme of "Practicum on Basic Introduction to the Utilization of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems" as an implementation of the theory that has been obtained in school.

Hopefully this visit will be a valuable moment for grade XII students of SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari to gain knowledge, experience, and inspiration about geography education. We hope that this activity can broaden our horizons about geography, introduce the academic environment of the UNG Geography Education Study Program, and motivate them to continue learning and achievement.
