Workshop of Student Self-Quality Improvement: Inspiration for Academic Success

A workshop aimed at improving the quality of students in the Geography Education Study Program was successfully held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNG. This activity was held on June 9 2023 with the theme "Develop Yourself, Realize Your Potential: Inspiration for Academic Success." This workshop was attended by three presenters who are experienced in their fields, namely Ronal Hutagalung, ST., MT (Head of Geological Engineering Study Program), Hendra, S.Pd., M.Pd (Geography Education Lecturer), and Moh. Kamal Salote, M.Pd (Geography Education alumni).

This workshop aims to provide students with the skills and strategies necessary to enhance their personal and academic development. With an emphasis on self-improvement, this event provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations, as well as explore effective methods for achieving academic success.

Ronal Hutagalung, ST., MT, opened the workshop with material on the theme Impowering Students in the VUCA EA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity).

Hendra, S.Pd., M.Pd, a dedicated Geography Education lecturer, delivered an interesting session on Building Student Ethics in the World of Lectures.

Moh. Kamal Salote, M.Pd, a successful alumnus from the Geography Education Study Program, gave an inspiring speech on Sustainable Student Management Strategies for Success.

This Workshop on Improving the Self-Quality of Geography Education Study Program Students provides valuable insight and motivation to participants to develop their potential and achieve academic success. It is hoped that through activities like this, students will become more motivated and ready to face future challenges.
