The Geography Education Study Program of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Universitas Negeri Gorontalo designed their curriculum with reference to the objectives of the study program, namely forming hard skills and soft skills for the output of the process to produce graduates of the Geography Education Study Program who must have four main competencies, namely

(1) Pedagogic Competence

(2) Professional Competence

(3) Personal Competence

(4) Social Competence

The courses offered will form the character and identity of students to become geographers who are expected to be able to become professional geography teachers in their fields. The course structure consists of:

(1) General Courses

(2) Basic education courses

(3)  Field of study courses and supporting courses

(4) Learning Process Skills Course

The number of credits to be completed is 144 credits consisting of 136 credits in compulsory courses and 8 credits from elective courses.
