Bone Bolango, April 26, 2025 – The Geography Student Association (HMG) of the Geography Education Study Program, FMIPA, Gorontalo State University celebrated its 14th Anniversary with the theme "Travel Atlas, Compass of Change". This celebration is a momentum for reflection on the organization's journey as well as a commitment to continue to contribute to positive changes in the field of geography.
The Chairman of HMG, Haikal Monginsi said that this Anniversary is not only a place to celebrate, but also a means of strengthening solidarity between members and increasing the spirit of work. "We hope that HMG will continue to be a growth space for Geography students who are critical, creative, and solution-oriented," he said.
The Dean of FMIPA UNG, Prof. Dr. Fitryane Lihawa, M.Si, in her speech expressed her appreciation for HMG's contribution in the development of student organizations. "This Anniversary is not just a celebration, but also a reflection of HMG's long journey in contributing to the strengthening of academics and student character. Hopefully HMG will continue to be a compass of inspiring change," she said.
This lively activity was filled with a series of events such as dances, talk shows and the peak night of the celebration. The theme raised reflects the spirit to follow in the footsteps of HMG as well as being a guide towards innovation and progress. This activity took place lively with the attendance of Geography Education students, representatives of each HMPS within FMIPA, lecturers, and alumni of Geography Education.
