Gorontalo — The Geography Education Study Program again carried out academic activities through the EDU-TALK GEO Webinar with the theme "Utilization of Zotero for Scientific Paper Writing" which was held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This activity was held as an effort to improve students' ability to manage references and compile scientific papers more effectively, systematically, and in accordance with academic standards.

This webinar was attended by students and lecturers with great enthusiasm, considering that the need for mastery of reference management applications is increasingly important in the academic world. In this activity, participants were introduced to the use of Zotero as one of the software that helps the process of managing library resources, automatic citations, and compiling bibliographies in various scientific writing styles.

Through practical sessions and interactive discussions, students are invited to understand how Zotero can simplify the process of preparing final projects, scientific articles, and research reports. Yes, technical things such as citation arrangements are often considered simple, but they really determine the quality and professionalism of a scientific work.

The EDU-TALK GEO Webinar activity is part of the commitment of the Geography Education Study Program in supporting the improvement of academic culture and digital literacy of students. It is hoped that through training and debriefing like this, students will be more ready to produce scientific papers that are quality, structured, and in accordance with applicable academic writing standards.
