The Geography Education Study Program of Gorontalo State University has once again shown its commitment to social development and community empowerment through community service activities entitled "Geography Cares: Sharing Love, Spreading Hope." This activity is a collaboration between lecturers and the Geography Student Association (HIMAGI), which was held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Hidayah Wa Rahmatunnisa Foundation. This activity was prepared as a form of concern of the academic community for people in need, as well as strengthening the social character of students through real practice in the field. Through the theme "Sharing Love, Spreading Hope," the lecturers and students jointly distributed social assistance, provided environmental education, and provided assistance to orphanage children who were the target of the program.

The series of activities includes the distribution of basic needs packages, waste and environmental management counseling, and child-friendly activities. The foundation manager welcomed this activity with enthusiasm and appreciated the contributions made by lecturers and students. Through this activity, the Geography Education Study Program hopes to continue to strengthen the synergy between the campus and the community, so that the existence of universities has a real and sustainable impact. "Caring Geography" is expected to become a growing regular program, with a wider reach in the future.
