Gorontalo, September 09, 2025 – The Geography Education Study Program of FMIPA Gorontalo State University (UNG) through the Geo Edutalk academic forum again presents an inspirational discussion for students. This activity raised two important themes, namely "Fast Graduation Roadmap: Setting Academic and Organizational Priorities for Geography Students" and "Effective Study Strategies and Implementation of Research Results in Geography Learning Innovations". This Edutalk was organized by the Geography Education Laboratory under the Head of the Laboratory Dr. Eng. Sri Maryati, S.Si. This activity is part of the study program's commitment to building a productive academic culture through discussion forums held every month.
The first speaker was Masruroh, M.Pd with the topic "Rapid Graduation Roadmap: Setting Academic and Organizational Priorities for Geography Students". This material emphasizes the importance of time management, academic strategies, and a balance between lectures and organizational activities to support the acceleration of studies without compromising the quality of academic achievements.
Meanwhile, the second speaker was delivered by Nurmuhniyanti Hubaib, M.Pd who is an alumnus of S1 Geography Education UNG and S2 in Geography Education UNY, namely material on "Effective Study Strategies and Implementation of Research Results in Geography Learning Innovation". In his presentation, it was explained how students can manage efficient learning strategies while utilizing research results to create innovative and relevant geography learning methods and media that are relevant to the times.
The activity, which was attended by students, lecturers, and representatives of student organizations, aimed to provide insight as well as motivation to students to be able to plan studies more targeted and contribute to the development of learning innovations in the field of geography. Through Geo Edutalk, students are expected to be able to compile study roadmaps, balance academic and organizational activities, and contribute to the development of research-based geography learning innovations.
