Gorontalo, December 30, 2024 – The election for the Chairperson of the Geography Study Program Student Association (HMPS) at Gorontalo State University (UNG) was successfully held at the Ulanta Village Office. The event, themed “Transformation for Progress: Shaping Change Through the Grand Deliberation of the Geography Student Association,” was attended by active HMPS members, senior members, and alumnus.

During this grand deliberation, Haikal Monginsi was officially elected as the new Chairperson of HMPS Geography, succeeding Muhammad Wahyudin, who had completed his term. Haikal is committed to steering the organization toward better transformation, in alignment with the event's theme.The event also served as a platform for reflection and strengthening relationships between active students and senior members, as well as alumnus. Their presence provided invaluable encouragement and insights for the younger generation, who will carry forward the leadership mantle.The solemn and family-like gathering concluded with a group photo session and informal mingling among all participants. With a new and enthusiastic leader at the helm, HMPS Geography UNG is expected to realize its vision of transformation and progress in the future
