A Geography Education Student of UNG Moh. Fahry Djuraini, Passed to Become a Certified Participant of Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB)

Bone Bolango - Moh. Fahry Djuraini is a student of the Geography Education Study Program, Department of Earth Science and Technology, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo who was declared eligible to be one of the independent study participants from the Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB) launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy.

MSIB is one of the eight learning methods proclaimed in the Independent Campus Policy. This Internship Program was created to provide a space for students to gain experience in knowing the professional world that may have only existed in your dreams in the future.

Fahry is a current student in semester 5 of the Geography Education Study Program, and he was declared to have passed as a certified independent study program participant at one of the partners, namely AMATI Indonesia (Invitation to Indonesian Productive Students), which was initiated by the Nara Kreatif Foundation. He managed to go through a very competitive selection stage with 3,248 students from all over the archipelago, starting from the video challenge and interview, until finally, the 100 best participants were selected. He was placed in the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park with 4 other students from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Merdeka Malang, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Medan.

This AMATI Indonesia Independent Study Program will raise a project connected to Solving Sustainable Tourism Problems with Design Thinking, in which up to 100 students will be put in 7 National Park locations in Indonesia for 1 semester to finish and expand their ecotourism potential. Gunung Leuser, TN. Manusela, TN. Bogani Nani Wartabone, TN. Aketajawe, TN. Way Kambas, Lake Toba Geopark, and Alor Islands are all part of the area.

Furthermore, I hope that by participating in this program, I will be able to strengthen my soft and hard abilities, as well as get experience working with other students from the archipelago, allowing me to form broader relationships." Fahri expressed himself.

He has also expressed his gratitude to the Geography Education Study Program for their support. Head of the UNG Geography Education Study Program, Dr. eng. Sri Maryati, S.Si revealed that students in her department were given the opportunity to participate in the Independent campus (MBKM) program and hoped that more students would actively participate in the activities offered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and show their best achievements.
